Welcome all carbon based life forms, welcome to a place where it is okay, actually it is expected that you are a geek. So, lets talk about what that means.
Planet – according to the Science Dictionary a planet is “A large celestial body, smaller than a star but larger than an asteroid, that does not produce its own light but is illuminated by light from the star around which it revolve”s
Geek – the dictionary defines a geek as “a person who has excessive enthusiasm for and some expertise about a specialized subject or activity”.
So, Planet Geekdom is a community in which passionate enthusiasts can come together and share their thoughts, experiences and maybe learn a little about other carbon based life forms.
Planet Geekdom is for you. We want to hear from you. This community will grow because it is a safe place to be. We will moderate all comments, so be nice. We will not allow degrading or bullying talk or actions. We encourage spirited debate but will not allow the purposeful act of putting someone else down.
We will try to attend as many events as we can, cover as many topics as we can…but we need your help to truly make that happen. If you would like to contribute, let us know.
